Short Term Stays / Respite Care

Respite Care services provide temporary, short-term stays during times when the usual care-giver requires their duties taken over for a brief period.  This type of service is excellent for families in crisis, for caregivers of adults and Seniors with disabilities, special needs, or memory impairment, or for anyone simply needing a break.

Utilizing Respite Care is a great way to reduce family stress and enhance family coping abilities.  They often introduce caregivers to more community and peer contacts, as well as increase family social activities and interactions and improve attitudes toward loved ones.

WEL-Life works with you and your loved one to help you through the tough times by providing Respite Care on an as-needed basis. We are here for you when you are in need.

Hospice Care

Hospice Care is a special part of the continuum of care covering the last six months of life. It is designed to provide comfort and support to residents and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments.

The goal of Hospice Care is to improve the quality of a patient's last days by creating an environment focused on comfort and dignity.  Care is provided by a team-oriented group of specially trained professionals, volunteers, and family members. Hospice Care deals with the emotional, social, and spiritual impact of the disease on the patient and the patient's family and friends. It offers a variety of bereavement and counseling services to families before and after a patient's death.

If you want to learn more about Hospice Care, please contact one of our individual locations.

Congregate Care

Congregate Care is part of the continuum of care a little more care than independent living and less than assisted living. Simply stated, congregate care provides a home near others while supporting basic household needs such as meals, housekeeping and transportation.

WEL-Life provides congregate living in conjunction with its assisted living locations as a replacement to seclusion in one's home. The opportunity to join a wonderful community with the benefits of a secure, comfortable and private environment make this the right choice for those who like to be social and don't have the means to get from one event to another independently.

If you want to learn more about Congregate Care, please contact one of our individual locations.
